You can stream Rogers: The Musical (Original Cast Recording) on popular platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music. Thanks to Walt Disney Records, you can enjoy the full 30-minute digital album, which features 12 tracks, including five all-new, original songs created specifically for the stage production. These incredible songs were written by Grammy-winning composer Christopher Lennertz, with lyrics by Lennertz, Jordan Peterson (the musical’s director), and Alex Karukas.
“We wanted to capture the best of both Avengers and Broadway traditions, infusing humor, heart, and heroic action into the music,” shared Lennertz. “The score boasts unforgettable melodies and a wide range of instruments that match the iconic presence of our hero. Audiences will be treated to big band jazz, modern funk, classic orchestra, and more.”
Experience the Magic of Rogers: The Musical
This summer, Rogers: The Musical became a reality, transcending its fictional origins within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This captivating stage play uses the power of song and dance to tell the life story of Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America. It made its debut in the MCU through Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney+ series Hawkeye, where fans were treated to a show-stopping performance of the now-beloved song “Save the City.”
In June, a real-life, one-act version of Rogers: The Musical took center stage at the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure Park. This half-hour spectacle ran until August, featuring popular songs like “Save the City” from Hawkeye and “Star Spangled Man” from Marvel Studios’ 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger. Of course, it also showcased the incredible original compositions by Lennertz.
