Prepare for heart-pounding action in Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood #1 with Ennis and Stott’s story, “Undefeated.” Witness a zombified Daredevil battling another undead foe in an underground cage match. (Based on the gruesome preview, it seems Daredevil’s undefeated record as the Man Without Fear will remain unbroken.) Meanwhile, Spider-Man fights for survival against a relentless zombie horde in Segura and Fernández’s “Hope.” Lastly, Allen and Mason’s “Deliverance” pits Moon Knight against a zombified Iron Man in a battle for survival.

Marvel Zombies originated as a five-issue limited series by Robert Kirkman and Sean Phillips, spinning out of Ultimate Fantastic Four. Since its inception in late 2005 to mid-2006, the Marvel Zombies franchise has spawned numerous sequels and spin-offs. Fans even witnessed the undead horrors come to life in Marvel Studios’ Disney+ animated series What If…? in 2021. And there’s more to come, as a four-episode Marvel Zombies spin-off series is currently in development for the streaming platform.
