This exciting video was recently released on Loki’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, just in time for the highly anticipated second season on Disney+. Embracing the show’s unique anachronistic theme, the video takes on the form of an in-universe instructional tape, complete with a charming 1980s animation style. Voiced by the talented Tara Strong, Miss Minutes cheerfully narrates the video accompanied by nostalgic music.
Unveiling Miss Minutes and the TVA’s Dark Side
The TVA video handbook is titled “Welcome to the TVA. Now get to work!” At first, it seems to describe various opportunities for potential employees. However, Miss Minutes quickly reveals its true purpose, stating, “Great news — it ain’t up to you! We’ve already chosen your future for you.”
In Season 1 of Loki, the TVA initially appeared as a noble institution dedicated to safeguarding the “Sacred Timeline” and preventing the collapse of the universe. Yet, its sinister motives were gradually exposed. Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, finding himself trapped between timelines and captured by the TVA.
In the upcoming episodes, Loki must join forces with former TVA members who have discovered they were mere pawns in a larger scheme. This includes Owen Wilson’s Mobius and Ke Huy Quan’s O.B. Additionally, Sophia Di Martino returns as Sylvie, a variant of Loki herself, as they unite against the TVA and its enigmatic creator, Jonathan Majors’ Kang.
Created by Michael Waldron, Loki’s first season premiered on Disney+ in June 2021. Season 2 is helmed by directors Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, Dan DeLeeuw, and Kasra Farahani, with Eric Martin serving as the head writer.
