Exciting News: Invincible Season 3 is already in the works
The first half of Invincible Season 2 will be available in early November, with the second half set to release next year. The animated adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s popular Image Comics series premiered in 2021 and was quickly renewed for two more seasons by Prime Video. In July, fans were treated to a special stand-alone episode centered around Atom Eve (played by Gillian Jacobs).
Prime Video has also confirmed that the wait between Invincible Seasons 2 and 3 will be shorter than the gap between Seasons 1 and 2. Voice work for Season 3 is already complete, indicating that fans won’t have to endure another two-year hiatus. Additionally, a live-action film adaptation of Invincible is currently in development at Universal.
In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of what to expect in Invincible Season 2: “Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like any other guy his age — except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still recovering from Nolan’s betrayal in Season 1, Mark must rebuild his life while facing new threats and battling his greatest fear: becoming his father without even realizing it.”
Mark your calendars! Invincible Season 2 premieres on Prime Video on Friday, November 3.
