Midjourney Launches Debut Mobile App, Marking a New Milestone

Since its beta launch in the summer of 2022, Midjourney has built a thriving community of over 16 million users on its official server within the messaging app Discord. Discord remains the primary platform for interacting with Midjourney. Users simply type in text prompts to the Midjourney Bot in Discord, and it generates quartets of images for them to choose from, download, remix, and more.

Exciting news! Midjourney has partnered with Sizigi Studios, a Japanese game company, to launch Niji Journey, an Android and iOS app. Founder David Holz, a former co-founder of Leap Motion and NASA researcher, announced this during Midjourney’s regular weekly “Office Hours” audio conference held within Discord.

Niji Journey focuses on providing images using Midjourney’s anime art style setting, known as “Niji.” It’s now available for download on the Google Play and Apple App Stores, offering a unique visual experience.
