Dive into the world of Immortal Thor #7 – and what lies ahead
The official synopsis for Immortal Thor #7 is as intriguing as it gets: “THE TRIALS OF UTGARD! Young Thor faces the tricks of the Utgard-Loki, with the fate of all life hanging in the balance — a tale twice-told and now retold. But the narrator is the Skald of Realms, in their role as Thor’s adversary. This means the tale could take unexpected turns — and if Thor stumbles, it could lead to a new ending. This is the saga of the IMMORTAL THOR … and the story may yet spell doom for us all.”
Marvel has also given us a glimpse into Thor’s future battles with Minotaur and the Roxxon Energy Corporation. They recently announced Roxxon Presents: Thor #1, a clever spin-off one-shot where Roxxon actually buys the rights to Thor — and introduces its own, corporate-backed version of the legendary hero. Crafted by Ewing and illustrated by Greg Land, Roxxon Presents: Thor #1 is set to release on Wednesday, April 17 (two weeks after the release of Immortal Thor #9 by Ewing and Ibraim Roberson).
Mark your calendars, Immortal Thor #7 will be available for purchase on Wednesday, February 28 from Marvel Comics.
