Get ready for a blood-soaked adventure with Toadman Interactive’s vampire-themed first-person shooter, EvilVEvil. After a long wait, the co-op shooter is finally set to hit the gaming world this year. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam later this summer. Plus, a PC closed beta is set to kick off on March 1.
In EvilVEvil, you’ll step into the shoes of an ancient vampire, a member of The Order of the Dragon, who has just awakened from a long slumber. Your divine mission? To protect humanity from Zagreus, a malevolent force intent on consuming human essence to become the most powerful entity in the universe. The only way to combat this evil is to embrace your own dark side. Unleash your vampiric instincts and wreak havoc in EvilVEvil’s story campaign, which features 11 episodic missions for 1 to 3 players.
As you carve a bloody trail through your enemies, you’ll unlock artifacts and weapon mods, allowing you to customize your play style and increase your power. But battling Zagreus’ minions is just part of the game. You’ll also compete with your friends to see who can be the most destructive vampire.
EvilVEvil will launch with three playable characters: Mashaka, who can teleport and incinerate enemies with his fire magic; Leon the juggernaut, who chains up foes and drags them to their doom; and Victoria, the team leader, who can create copies of herself to hunt down enemies and slice them up with her katana.
“EvilVEvil is the ultimate power fantasy. It’s a game that flips the script in this genre, transforming players from prey to predator,” says Ola Nilsson, CEO at Toadman Interactive. “We’re excited for players to join us on this bloody journey.”
As previously mentioned, the closed beta is set to begin in March, offering players an early glimpse of the game’s intense and gory combat. You can find registration details for the closed beta on the Steam page.
