Palm Springs Star Joins Cast for Season 2 of Marvel’s Hit-Monkey on Hulu

Exciting news for Cristin Milioti fans! The Palm Springs star is set to lend her voice to the second season of Hit-Monkey.

According to Variety, Milioti will be voicing a character named Iris in Hulu’s adult animated series, Hit-Monkey, which is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

“Iris is a character with a complex past. She has spent her life vowing not to follow in the footsteps of her father, Bryce, who abandoned her. However, when destiny reunites them, she discovers that they share more similarities than she ever imagined, leading to an intense final reconciliation,” the character description reveals.

Milioti is no stranger to the screen. She has played Sarah Wilder opposite Andy Samberg in 2020’s Palm Springs, Catherine Sacrimoni in The Sopranos, Tracy McConnell in How I Met Your Mother, Teresa Petrillo Belfort in 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street, and Nanette Cole in the “USS Callister” episode of Black Mirror.

And there’s more to look forward to! Milioti will soon be seen playing Sofia Falcone in Max’s The Penguin, a highly anticipated limited series that is a spin-off to 2022’s The Batman.

So, what’s the scoop on Hit-Monkey Season 2?

The voice cast of Hit-Monkey Season 2 is star-studded, featuring Fred Tatasciore, Jason Sudeikis, Leslie Jones, Ally Maki, and Olivia Munn. The series was created by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, who also serve as executive producers. The animation is brought to life by Floyd County Productions.

Hit-Monkey was one of four animated Marvel Television shows announced in 2019. Although a crossover was initially planned, two of the series — Tigra & Dazzler and Howard the Duck — were canceled before they even hit the screens. The Patton Oswalt-led M.O.D.O.K. did premiere in 2021, but unfortunately, it was canceled after just one season.

Mark your calendars! Hit-Monkey Season 2 is set to premiere on Hulu on July 15, 2024. If you haven’t caught up yet, the first season is currently available to stream on the platform.
