Retro Shooter ‘Bloodhound’ Now Available on PlayStation, Xbox Release Scheduled for August

It’s been almost a year since the independent Polish studio, Kruger & Flint Productions, unleashed their arcade-style FPS game Bloodhound on Steam. Now, this adrenaline-pumping shooter is ready to take over PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Xbox enthusiasts, don’t fret! Bloodhound is set to land on Xbox One and the Xbox Series this coming August.

Immerse yourself in the meticulously designed, hellish landscapes inspired by iconic horror movies, legendary FPS games, and real-world references in Bloodhound. You’ll step into the shoes of a brave member of the Order of Keepers of the Gates, a clandestine faction of the Templar order. Your mission? To guard the gates of Hell against the Cult of Astaroth, who are hell-bent on opening them and unleashing chaos.

Armed with an arsenal inspired by classic FPS games like Doom, Quake, and Painkiller, you’re ready to take on the demons. Your weaponry includes a machete, double-barrelled shotgun, crossbow, rocket launcher, a chainsaw-flamethrower, and more, all designed to help you keep the gates of Hell firmly shut.

The PlayStation version of Bloodhound comes with a bonus – the game’s free DLC addon, Juicy Retro Style!. This pixelated filter adds an extra layer of nostalgia to the game, enhancing its old-school aesthetic.

For the PC gamers out there, Bloodhound is currently available at an 80% discount during the Steam Summer Sale. Grab it before the sale ends on July 11th.
