Crazy Goat Games Lands Publisher for ‘Worshippers of Cthulhu’, Unveils Demo Trailer

Get ready for a thrilling ride! The extraction shooter genre is about to get a new entrant. Hunt: Showdown will be joined by HUNGER, a horror extraction shooter and “slasher” game, developed by Good Fun Corporation. This exciting PvPvE FPS game, which ingeniously blends RPG elements, is set to launch in Early Access for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store next year.

Set in the eerie backdrop of Napoleonic Europe, post the devastating Bacterium plague, HUNGER puts you in the shoes of a survivor. You can either embark on a solitary journey or team up with allies in pairs or trios, navigating through a landscape teeming with monstrous beings, the Hunger, born from the plague’s wrath.

Your survival and success in this world are closely tied to the inhabitants of the Chateau – a diverse group of quest givers, shopkeepers, stashkeepers, bounty hunters and other survivors. As you complete quests and build your reputation, you’ll unlock new locations, abilities, characters, weapons, gear, and resources. You’ll have an arsenal of weapons at your disposal, including firearms, throwables, and melee weapons like axes, swords and maces. With a blend of “methodical and frenetic ranged and melee combat”, you’ll also have armor, shields, bags, trinkets, medicines and more to aid you in battle.

Adding to the excitement, HUNGER incorporates RPG elements, offering a set of unlockable unique Passive, Tactical and Ultimate abilities. With “deep and extremely customisable” mastery trees featuring over 100 talents, you can tailor your character to your play style. Whether you prefer stealth mechanics, specialise in ranged combat with faster reload speed and better weapon control, or choose a support role focusing on repair healing, the choice is yours.

Good Fun Corporation anticipates that HUNGER will be in Early Access for two years as they strive to bring the game to a fully featured state.
