Unmasking Muse

In the Marvel Comics universe, Muse is a serial killer with a twisted sense of creativity. He views his heinous crimes as “art,” often transforming crime scenes into macabre street art in New York City. Introduced to the Marvel world in 2016, Muse was brought to life by writer Charles Soule and artist Ron Garney.

Daredevil: Born Again is the brainchild of showrunner Dario Scardapane and directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. The MCU revival will see the return of fan-favorites like Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/ Punisher, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/ Bullseye. Joining the ensemble are newcomers Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gaston, Nikki M. James, Arty Froushan, and Genneya Walton.

Cox and D’Onofrio made their MCU debuts in 2021, with Kingpin making a guest appearance in the Hawkeye series and Matt Murdock/Daredevil making a brief cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In 2022, Cox also showcased a lighter side of the hero in a two-episode stint on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Most recently, Cox and D’Onofrio starred in the Alaqua Cox-led miniseries Echo.
