New Avengers Gather in Trailer for Season 3 of Marvel’s What If…?

Get ready for a thrilling ride with Marvel’s latest series, What If…? Season 3. A fresh trailer has just dropped, giving us a sneak peek into what’s in store for this December. The new trailer expands on the previous one, unveiling more footage of a revamped Avengers squad, an unexpected alliance between the Watcher and Celestials, and much more.

Sam Wilson Takes Charge of a New Avengers Squad in What If…? Season 3 Trailer

As we gear up for the release of What If…? Season 3, which is set to premiere its eight episodes from December 22, Marvel has rolled out a new trailer as part of its final promotional push.

The trailer teases glimpses from all eight upcoming episodes. Highlights include Storm’s MCU debut, wielding Mjolnir, and Riri Williams stepping into the role of Superior Ironheart, offering a fresh spin on the superior Iron Man narrative from the comics.

Other notable episodes feature a Winter Soldier and Red Guardian team-up, an alliance between the Watcher and Celestials, and most excitingly, a multiverse tale where Sam Wilson leads a new Avengers team, featuring Monica Rambeau, Moon Knight, and other MCU heroes.

Here’s the official synopsis of Marvel’s What If…? Season 3:

“Season 3 follows classic characters as they navigate uncharted paths, leading to extraordinary alternate versions of the MCU.”

What If…? Season 3 boasts a star-studded voice cast, including many familiar MCU faces such as Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.

Returning to the series are Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Seth Green as Howard the Duck, Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, Dominique Thorne as Ironheart, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Hailee Steinfeld as Hawkeye, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and many more.
