Get ready for an exciting new show brought to you by the creators of Queer Eye and starring the talented Kristen Stewart (known for her roles in Twilight and Charlie’s Angels). The show is called Living for the Dead, and the newly released trailer reveals that it revolves around five queer “Ghost Hunties” who not only investigate paranormal activity but also lend a helping hand to the ordinary people they encounter along the way.
Just in time for Huluween, the series follows the adventures of Alex Le May, Juju Bae, Ken Boggle, Logan Taylor, and Roz Hernandez as they explore haunted locations. One of their eerie destinations seems to be a hotel filled with clowns and less-than-pleasant floral bedspreads. The trailer also teases a spine-chilling “gay-ance” that yields some spooky results.
Here’s a glimpse of what the show is all about:
From the creators of Queer Eye comes a thrilling journey with five fabulous, queer ghost hunters. They criss-cross the country, not only healing the dead but also bringing solace to the living. As they delve into some of the world’s most notorious haunted locations, they’ll shed light on the unseen and unveil untold stories. Together, they’ll break boundaries and foster acceptance for the misunderstood, both in life and in death. Welcome to Living For The Dead, Ghost Hunties!
Kristen Stewart, the narrator and executive producer of Living for the Dead, expressed her excitement, saying, “It’s incredible and invigorating that my best friend CJ Romero and I had this funny idea that has now become a show. What started as a whimsical pipe dream has turned into something deeply moving and meaningful, while still being an absolute blast. Our cast never fails to make me laugh and cry. They had the courage and heart to take us on journeys I wouldn’t embark on alone. This is also a fantastic debut for the company I’ve founded with my partners Dylan Meyer and Maggie McLean. It’s just the beginning for us and for Living for the Dead. Our ultimate goal is to explore the entire spooky country, and who knows, maybe even the world!”
Mark your calendars for October 18, 2023, when the supernatural adventures of the Ghost Hunties will premiere on Hulu. You won’t want to miss it!
