Ruggero Deodato’s ‘Cannibal Tales’ Closed Beta Set for October 31, Public Demo to Launch at Steam Scream Event

Exciting news! Developer Fantastico Studio has just announced the highly anticipated closed beta for Cannibal Tales. Mark your calendars because the beta will kick off on October 31. But that’s not all, the team has also revealed a stunning new art piece featuring the game’s antagonist.

If you’re eager to get your hands on the game, you can sign up for the closed beta on the official Cannibal Tales website. The beta will run from October 31 until November 7th. This exclusive beta will give players access to the first two chapters of the game, offering around 30 minutes of thrilling gameplay. And once you’ve completed the demo, the team would love to hear your feedback through a survey.

It’s all part of Fantastico’s plan to release the game in February 2024. According to the announcement, development is in the “home stretch” with only the final two scenes, save functionality, options, and localization left to complete.

And don’t worry if you missed the previous demo. Fantastico Studio will be releasing an updated public demo during the Steam Scream: The Revenge event, happening from October 26th to November 2nd.

Lastly, the team has treated us to a new image of Price, the antagonist of Cannibal Tales, hard at work. Check it out below!

Cannibal Tales is an incredible three-part visual novel adventure game created by the brilliant mind of Ruggero Deodato, the director of the iconic Cannibal Holocaust. In the first entry, titled “The Interview,” you’ll follow Helena, a journalist at “Bloody Disgusting” (no relation), as she embarks on a quest for a groundbreaking story that could secure her a partnership at the newspaper. Her investigation leads her to Noah, a young survivor of the cannibalistic Price. Determined to uncover the connection between them and why Noah was spared, Helena sets out to interview him. But be prepared, as your morality will be tested and the line between good and evil becomes increasingly blurred.

Excitingly, Cannibal Tales is currently in development for PC on Steam. Stay tuned for more updates!
