Kevin Feige’s Star Wars Film Receives Bleak Update

Exciting Update: Kevin Feige has officially confirmed that his highly anticipated Star Wars movie will not be happening.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the Las Vegas premiere of The Marvels, Feige was asked about the status of the Star Wars movie he was previously linked to.

His response was short and simple, “No.”

Curious about Kevin Feige’s Star Wars movie?

In September 2019, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Feige would be developing a Star Wars movie for Lucasfilm. This was confirmed by former Walt Disney Studios co-chairman and chief creative officer, Alan Horn, who expressed excitement about the collaboration between Feige and Lucasfilm.

However, in April 2023, Variety reported that Feige’s Star Wars movie was no longer in active development at Lucasfilm. Since then, updates on the project have been scarce. It’s worth noting that Michael Waldron, the screenwriter initially attached to the film, has since been hired by Feige for other exciting projects.

While we won’t be seeing Feige’s Star Wars movie, fans can still look forward to The Marvels, which will be hitting theaters in the United States on November 10, 2023.
