Zack Snyder is bringing his highly anticipated sci-fi movie Rebel Moon exclusively to Netflix on December 22. This epic saga will span at least two features, with Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire premiering on December 22, 2023, and Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver continuing the story on April 19, 2024.

“This is me growing up as an Akira Kurosawa fan, a Star Wars fan,” Zack Snyder recently shared with The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s my love for sci-fi and a grand adventure. My hope is that this becomes a massive IP and a universe that can be expanded.”
In addition to directing, Snyder is co-writing the screenplays for Rebel Moon with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad.
