AHOY’s The Wrong Earth Makes a Comeback with a Fresh 5-Part Series: Dead Ringers

After the jaw-dropping cliffhanger in The Wrong Earth: We Could Be Heroes #2, Dead Ringers is set to launch in March 2024, and fans couldn’t be more excited. This five-part series brings together the incredible talents of writer Tom Peyer, artist Jamal Igle, inker Juan Castro, and colorist Lee Loughridge. And let’s not forget the stunning covers by Jamal Igle, paying homage to rock and hip-hop icons. The first two covers draw inspiration from Public Enemy and Onyx, while issue #1 also features a variant cover by Felipe Sobreiro.

Writer Tom Peyer promises a unique twist in this installment, saying, “This one’s a bit different from previous installments, though we’re still playing with superhero tropes through the ages. The Wrong Earth: A satirical superhero adventure

The Wrong Earth, created by Peyer and Igle, first took the comic world by storm in 2018 at AHOY Comics. The original series ran for six thrilling issues until 2019, introducing us to the parallel worlds of Dragonflyman and the Dragonfly. These two heroes, with their strikingly similar appearances, embark on a mind-bending journey through the multiverse. The success of the series led to the follow-up, The Wrong Earth: Night and Day, a six-issue run from early to mid-2021. Additionally, fans were treated to five The Wrong Earth one-shots throughout 2022.

Last October, AHOY Comics celebrated The Wrong Earth’s fifth anniversary with the limited series We Could Be Heroes, consisting of two action-packed issues.
