Guided by the legendary producer Roy Lee and AWA’s co-founder Axel Alonso, they are set to unleash a new wave of horror stories. This extraordinary alliance will create works spanning film, television, prose, and comics.
Since its inception in 2020, AWA has launched several critically acclaimed horror titles. With this new alliance, AWA will oversee the graphic works for each new series. Meanwhile, Roy Lee, Vertigo Entertainment, and AWA Studios will collaboratively produce the film and television adaptations of these stories.

Axel Alonso is a formidable force in the world of horror comics. He first gained recognition at DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint, where he edited series like Hellblazer and Preacher. As the CFO of AWA, Alonso continues to publish horror comics by writers like Garth Ennis, Mark Russell, and Benjamin Percy.
