Enter Contest to Secure a Blu-ray Copy of This Year’s Frightening Film, ‘Oddity’

Get ready to own one of the most terrifying films of the year! We at Bloody Disgusting are thrilled to announce that we’re giving away a few copies of Damian Mc Carthy‘s spine-chilling masterpiece, Oddity, on Blu-ray and DVD to three (3) fortunate readers. The special features are a treat, including Behind the Scenes with the Cast and Crew, a Storyboard to Screen featurette, and The Making of the Wooden Mannequin gallery.

In the eerie world of Oddity, Dani’s brutal murder at a remote country house she was renovating with her husband Ted, leaves everyone pointing fingers at a patient from the local mental health institution where Ted works. However, the suspect is found dead shortly after the murder.

Fast forward a year, Dani’s blind twin sister Darcy, a self-proclaimed psychic and collector of cursed items, makes an unexpected visit to Ted and his new girlfriend, Yana. Darcy is convinced that there’s more to her sister’s murder than meets the eye and she’s brought the most dangerous items from her cursed collection to help her seek justice.

The film boasts a stellar cast including Gwilym Lee, Carolyn Bracken, Tadhg Murphy, Caroline Menton, Steve Wall, Jonathan French, and Joe Rooney, who bring this supernatural revenge thriller to life.

Oddity was one of the most talked-about films at this year’s SXSW Midnighters. Meagan Navarro, in her review, noted, “Much like CaveatOddity weaves a bizarre murder mystery in a haunting, secluded house and uses an eerie mascot to hint at the paranormal. Oddity even hints at the fate of some of Caveat’s characters.”

“However, Mc Carthy’s latest film distinguishes itself with its obsession with superstition and a charmingly macabre sense of humor,” Meagan’s review for Bloody Disgusting continued. “The stripped-down storytelling allows its horror elements and Carolyn Bracken’s dual performances to truly stand out.”
