Percy and Cassara Reunite for Deadpool/Wolverine

Not only does the new series bring Deadpool and Wolverine together, but it also marks the reunion of two Marvel Comics stalwarts. Benjamin Percy will be scripting the series, with Joshua Cassara providing the stunning artwork. The duo previously worked together on the monthly X-Force series.
“Josh and I really hit it off when we were working together on X-Force and became great friends,” Percy shared with IGN last month. “We never stopped texting or hanging out at cons. We’re always trading stupid jokes and many hundreds of Arnold Schwarzenegger GIFs”.

Given their camaraderie, Percy and Cassara were both excited to collaborate again. And Deadpool/Wolverine was the perfect project to “get the band back together,” as Percy put it. He described the series as “us cartwheeling onto the stage and shredding our guitars once more while smoke machines churn and pyrotechnics explode all around us.” Percy also teased that the new series will have X-Men fans on the edge of their seats, with buried secrets and unexpected twists.
Mark your calendars! Deadpool/Wolverine #1 hits comic shops everywhere on January 1, 2025.
